Lewis' best friend, Dominic, who is a fellow nurse, will be the one to marry Kate and Lewis. While the head of the alter is a stark difference from the Baltimore Harbor or backyard fire pits where Lewis and Dom became best friends, they could not imagine any one else marrying them.

Lewis and Kate, introverts at heart, opted to forgo some traditional wedding norms such as a wedding party.

In a conscious effort to spend quality time with each wedding guest (and each other!) the couple decided to have an intimate micro wedding. 40 beloved wedding guests are coming from Massachusetts, Michigan, Ohio, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Oregon to celebrate Kate and Lewis.

Very limited parking is available at Sea Level and The House of the Seven Gables. We encourage all guests to pick accommodations in downtown Salem (see the Accommodations tab) so walking to all wedding locations is short and sweet. For those arriving to Salem via car, parking garages are available downtown and are also a short walk to the venues.

Due to the micro nature of the couple's wedding, only individuals/ families named on your wedding invitation are able to attend.

Kate and Lewis (although he is color blind) love colors! You'll see yellows, pinks, sky blues, and greens present throughout the wedding day. Feel free to lean into those colors, or not! The Wedding: Semi- formal (is that a thing?)- Not quite jeans-and- a-tee and not quite tux-and- gown either. Think garden party, comfortable, costal and of course, colorful.

A historic Salem Trolley will pick all guests up from The House of the Seven Gables at the end of the ceremony. The trolley will bring us on an hour long adventure around town and drop us off hungry and ready to celebrate at Turner's Seafood.

Both Sea Level and Turner's can accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please identify what restriction(s) you have when RSVP'ing for the wedding and the couple will ensure your food will be safe to consume.
