While The House of the Seven Gables is not a woman- owned business (but a National Register of Historic Places), Caroline Emmerton, a philanthropist and preservationist, founded the present-day nonprofit as a museum and Settlement House to assist immigrant families arriving in Salem.

With a desire to support a female artist and stray away from AI or technology driven Save the Dates and Invitations, Kate utilized a Canadian artist's (Julie from Lumina Templates) generic template to craft the cards that arrived in your mailbox.
The couple's Save the Dates and Invitations were printed by a Utah based company, Prints of Love. Prints of Love supports independent designers with commissions and is a member of the Reforestation Project. This mission, centered on sustainability, plants one tree for every order and they aim to have a Triple Bottom Line approach: People, Planet, Prosperity.
